Manufacturing Engineer (Stainless Steel Welding)

Location: Onsite in Anoka, Minnesota, United States, 5 days per week

Compensation range: $76,000–$141,100 per year, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Optimize manual, semi-automated, and fully automated manufacturing processes, production layouts, material flow, and line balancing.
• Provide hands-on guidance for orbital welding, fixture design, sanitary tube fabrication, and welding fittings and ports for liquid cooling products.
• Apply lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce waste and improve safety, product quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with the New Product Development team to assess drawings and ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturability.
• Submit capital equipment requests and coordinate equipment or technology integration with project teams and suppliers.
• Apply PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and manufacturing engineering methods while maintaining regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with hands-on stainless-steel tube or manifold fabrication.
• Experience with one or more of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, ERP, or PLM systems.
• Experience with welding processes such as orbital welding, GMAW, GTAW, laser welding, or stud welding.
• Ability to work onsite in Anoka, MN, five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated or robotic fabrication equipment.
