Manufacturing Engineer (HVAC): Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for high-quality HVAC systems with an accent on production efficiency, SAP manufacturing master data, safety, and quality. Focus on improving production workflows, coordinating product trials and validations, and solving process and manufacturability challenges through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; full-time work in a combination of office and factory settings.

Salary: $77,789–$105,244 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and production workflows.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, waste, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage SAP manufacturing master data, including engineering BOMs, routings, work centers, and production standards.
  • Collaborate with product design, quality, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability.
  • Support new product and technology introduction through trials, validations, training, and documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship while contributing to lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences.
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in HVAC or a similar industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, chemical fumes, and industrial equipment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
