Certified Medical Physicist (MS or PhD) Paris, TX

Location: Primarily based at the Texas Oncology Paris Cancer Center in Paris, Texas, with periodic travel to centers in Mt Pleasant and Greenville, Texas.

What you will do

• Evaluate radiation therapy equipment for utility, performance, condition, obsolescence, and replacement planning.
• Design and implement quality management programs for external beam radiotherapy equipment and clinical procedures.
• Manage radiation oncology information systems, including usage protocols, maintenance, and data storage.
• Support radiation safety activities, employee monitoring, regulatory reports, and compliance matters.
• Lead or participate in clinical projects that improve department processes and patient treatments.
• Support radiation therapy services for a community-based cancer center with active PSI and HDR programs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.
• ABR certification, or completion of a CAMPEP-approved residency with board eligibility.
• Working experience in a clinical environment.
• Texas Medical Board license required, or must be obtained.
• Periodic travel to nearby Texas Oncology centers is required based on regional coverage needs.
