Procurement Systems and Contract Support Specialist (Environmental Management): Supporting procurement systems, solicitations, contract awards, administration, and compliance activities for a high-stakes federal nuclear cleanup program with an accent on FAR/DEAR compliance, contract analysis, and procurement data integrity. Focus on building and closing compliant contract files, evaluating proposals, maintaining procurement systems, and coordinating reporting across organizational levels.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office, with some remote support as approved

What you will do

  • Develop solicitations, evaluate proposals, support contract awards, and assist with contract administration.
  • Support procurement systems, reporting activities, data integrity, and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation requirements.
  • Lead compliant contract file builds and closeouts.
  • Provide procurement, finance and budget, workforce management, audit coordination, and general program support.
  • Coordinate approved travel and operational support for Hanford Field Office activities.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of federal procurement or contract support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with contract administration, cost and price analysis, compliance, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong attention to detail, negotiation, communication, and schedule discipline.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
  • Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required depending on the assigned work.

Nice to have

  • Department of Energy or Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Professional certifications related to business, supply chain, procurement, or contracts.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, or Visio.
