Real Estate Claims Account Handler

Location: London, with team members expected to be primarily in the office

What you will do

• Act as the main claims contact for the Real Estate book and support new business growth and account retention.
• Lead technical claims handling and oversee Real Estate claims management.
• Manage TPA relationships, including performance, claims outcomes, management information, and contractual adherence.
• Process claims bordereaux and oversee BDX and financial reconciliation activities.
• Analyze and report on claims data, metrics, outcomes, and trends.
• Ensure compliance with Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Strong technical and operational experience from an insurer, broker, or legal organization.
• Expert knowledge of the Real Estate claims sector and working knowledge of its main brokers and TPAs.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders and senior management.
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage large and complex issues and datasets.
• Excellent IT skills, with essential experience developing solutions using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
