Production Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Longford, Ireland; full-time onsite role with 2- or 3-cycle shift rotation

Salary: €28,696–€33,264 per year

What you will do

• Operate production lines and maintain output, quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Monitor equipment uptime, report malfunctions and irregularities, and make minor adjustments and repairs.
• Complete batch documentation, follow cGMP requirements, and participate in SOP reviews.
• Perform running, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance, including timely machine setup.
• Coach and train team members on safety, quality, traceability, and standard work.
• Participate in Lean programs focused on line efficiency and waste reduction.

Requirements

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Willingness to work on a 2- or 3-cycle shift rota.
• Good written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Mathematical and mechanical or technical skills with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
