Machine Operator - Weekend Nights

Location: On-site in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, United States. Weekend night shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday, 6:00 pm–6:00 am.

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour and up based on experience.

What you will do

• Operate interlock armoring equipment, including pay-off, take-up, and related manufacturing equipment.
• Load materials and products, perform routine machine setups, and use hand tools for setup and secondary operations.
• Follow masters, process sheets, SOPs, and online assembly documents while completing production paperwork.
• Perform quality control checks and inspections using micrometers, scales, and OD tapes.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas, including scheduled operator preventive maintenance and 5S activities.
• Use a computer console for limited data entry and work with engineering and quality personnel to resolve production issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and navigate online assembly process documents.
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, and measuring.
• Ability to safely use assembly tools, identify potential safety hazards, multitask, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 45 pounds occasionally, with prolonged standing or sitting and work in a manufacturing-floor environment.
• Previous manufacturing facility or machine operator experience is preferred.
