Supervisor – SR&ED (Engineering) - Bilingual – Location Flexible (Calgary/Ottawa/Montreal)

Location: National role in Canada, with preference for candidates in Alberta, Montreal, or Ottawa; work may be in-office, hybrid, or fully remote.

Salary: CAD 73,000–126,400 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Identify SR&ED opportunities with clients and provide guidance throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Prepare clear, technically accurate SR&ED submissions describing technological advancements and eligible work.
• Collaborate with financial teams and technical managers to identify eligible costs and streamline claims.
• Help prepare defense strategies and support clients through CRA and provincial reviews, audits, and meetings.
• Advise and train clients on SR&ED eligibility, program changes, and opportunities to strengthen their claims.
• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining professional standards, deadlines, and ongoing technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Several years of SR&ED experience is advantageous; experience in industrials, mechanical engineering, electronics, oil and gas, or mining is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, or technology, or a diploma in a related technology discipline.
• More than 3–5 years of experience in the relevant technical field with demonstrated achievements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, client service, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, accounting partners, and leadership.
• English/French bilingualism is required.
