Senior Relationship Manager - Middle Market (New Jersey)

Location: Remote work from New Jersey, United States

Salary: $131,611.50–$219,478.00 per year, plus potential variable incentives, bonuses, commissions, or other awards.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain relationships with middle-market companies in New Jersey with annual sales of $50 million or more.
• Originate new business, generate direct deal flow, and coordinate teams through loan approval and closing.
• Manage client relationships, identify opportunities, and grow loan production, fee income, and cross-sell revenues.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality, collect financial statements, assess compliance with reporting requirements, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with product specialists, portfolio managers, credit teams, and operational support to manage the full relationship.
• Track industry trends, market conditions, regulatory requirements, and competitive developments affecting the portfolio.

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial financing or equivalent lending experience.
• Established relationships with relevant companies and a demonstrated direct origination track record.
• Expertise in negotiating, structuring, and closing complex loans.
• Strong analytical, credit, due diligence, credit underwriting, and legal documentation skills.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, presentation, and sales skills, including the ability to recommend transactions to senior bank management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; formal credit training is preferred.
