Sustainability Manager

What you will do

• Support and co-own the global Sustainability and ESG Strategy, translating objectives into roadmaps, targets and KPIs.
• Lead sustainability governance and actions arising from double materiality and restricted substances assessments.
• Own restricted substance management and product environmental compliance for REACH, RoHS, SCIP, Conflict Minerals and emerging legislation.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Supply Chain teams on supplier declarations, material disclosures and product compliance.
• Lead ESG disclosures and reporting covering CDP, TCFD, CSRD and ISSB.
• Oversee carbon accounting, science-based target setting, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, waste reduction and water management programmes.

Requirements

• Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in sustainability, ESG, product stewardship or environmental compliance within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering or technology environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in restricted substance compliance, including REACH and RoHS, plus experience with SCIP submissions and Conflict Minerals reporting.
• Experience managing product environmental compliance programmes, supplier material declarations, carbon accounting and sustainability data.
• Knowledge of GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD, CSRD and ISSB reporting frameworks.
• Eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance.

Nice to have

• Lifecycle Assessment experience and sustainable product design knowledge.
• Customer-facing sustainability experience.
• IEMA Practitioner, Lead Auditor or ISO 14001 certification.
