Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan, design, and deliver complex public infrastructure projects, including passenger stations, maintenance facilities, operations buildings, and civic environments.
• Develop architectural solutions focused on accessibility, sustainability, resilience, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Collaborate with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, communications, and transportation professionals on integrated designs.
• Participate in all project phases, from concept development through construction documentation and construction administration.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and project teams while producing and reviewing drawings, specifications, reports, and presentation materials.
• Support quality assurance and contribute innovative ideas for people-focused infrastructure design.

Requirements

• Registered Architect (RA), or ability to obtain registration within a reasonable timeframe.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Approximately 5+ years of professional architectural experience on complex building or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with institutional, civic, transportation, healthcare, education, aviation, commercial, or similarly complex facilities.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, building codes, and accessibility requirements including ADA.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and learning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with transit, transportation, public-sector infrastructure, MTA, government, or other public-sector clients.
• Experience with Design-Build or other collaborative project delivery methods.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenBuildings, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu, or Microsoft Office.
• LEED Accreditation or demonstrated interest in sustainable and resilient design.
