Interior Designer III (Life Sciences)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, USA; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Execute interior design work across space planning, design development, detailed design, and construction administration.
• Develop design and construction models and documentation using Revit or other BIM software.
• Research products, evaluate interior finish materials, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare and present design studies, visualizations, reports, sketches, and documentation to internal and external clients.
• Plan work against project deadlines and ensure compliance with applicable building codes.
• Participate in drawing reviews, coordination meetings, and quality checks while collaborating with interior designers and architects.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or an equivalent Canadian or international qualification.
• Seven years of professional experience.
• NCIDQ certification.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic presentation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experience with Enscape, SketchUp, or similar visualization software.
• LEED accreditation, WELL certification, or similar sustainability credentials.
• Experience with workplace, corporate office, laboratory, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or consumer products projects, including furniture systems and finish specifications.
