Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $160,647.46–$183,597.09 per year

What you will do

• Provide creative and technical leadership for hirify.global’s interior design practice and maintain design intent from concept through construction completion.
• Lead interior design projects across programming, space planning, concept and design development, documentation, bidding, construction administration, and closeout.
• Direct the preparation and review of coordinated drawings, schedules, details, specifications, and FF&E information.
• Coordinate interior design requirements with architects, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
• Lead project teams through work planning, quality reviews, construction-phase decisions, mentoring, and professional development.
• Support client relationships, design workshops, proposals, interviews, business development, and the growth of the Boston interior design practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of professional interior design experience, including leadership of design teams and complex building projects through construction completion.
• NCIDQ certification required.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction, detailing, materials, specifications, furniture systems, accessibility, life safety, building codes, and architectural and engineering coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization and presentation tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, client relationship management, proposal, interview, and business development skills.

Nice to have

• LEED AP, WELL AP, EDAC, architectural licensure, or another relevant professional credential.
• Experience with healthcare, higher education, workplace, science and technology, civic, or public-sector projects.
• Experience improving interior design standards, quality-control processes, Revit workflows, documentation practices, or staff training programs.
• Professional organization involvement, publications, speaking engagements, or other industry representation.
