Senior Marketing Director – Commercial Banking & Marketing Operations (Banking)

What you will do

• Lead marketing strategy and execution for key commercial banking business lines, products, strategic initiatives, and special projects.
• Partner with executives and business leaders on brand management, customer experience, sales support, public relations, events, and business development.
• Oversee multichannel campaigns, media placement, promotions, executive presentations, spokesperson materials, and compliant website content.
• Manage marketing operations, including compliance workflows, risk and control frameworks, audit readiness, policies, vendor governance, and process governance.
• Own marketing budgets, forecasting, ROI analysis, market research, competitive intelligence, and reporting on campaign and event performance.
• Lead, hire, coach, and develop the marketing team while representing marketing on operational and risk committees.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience in marketing, communications, or a similar field.
• Previous leadership experience and advanced experience in financial services, banking, or a similar field.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of campaign management, marketing processes, agency and vendor management, and budgeting.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory, legal, compliance, and industry requirements.
• Advanced to expert skills in marketing program management, personal computer operation, and Workfront or similar project management tools.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Up to 25% travel may be required.
