Principal Engineer I - Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Define, implement, and support target-state DevOps platform architecture for multiple delivery teams and development stacks.
• Modernize applications and pipelines with Cloud Architecture and Solution Delivery teams using a cloud-first approach.
• Establish standards for SCM, CI/CD, test automation, security scanning, vulnerability management, containers, and PaaS delivery.
• Implement governance and security controls for AI-assisted workflows and leverage GitHub Copilot and enterprise AI agents.
• Create Power BI DevOps dashboards and operational performance reports.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews, produce solution documentation, review technical plans, and mentor engineers and development teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related IT experience, including 5+ years supporting DevOps platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, systems analysis, or a related field.
• Hands-on administration of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Enterprise, plus Power BI experience.
• Experience building reusable AI components such as agents, prompts, templates, or automation workflows.
• Experience with application security tooling, including SAST, DAST, and SCA solutions, and a deep understanding of SDLC and DevSecOps practices.
• Advanced knowledge of IT governance, regulatory and legal compliance, banking or financial services, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in a related field.
• Experience with SonarQube, Invicti, or GitHub Advanced Security.
• Previous leadership experience and expertise in banking domains such as Deposits, Loans, Operations, or Reporting.
