Software Engineer Lead - DevOps - Data and Automation (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Lead DevOps engineering for a hybrid vendor product, owning reliability, automation, security, and operational readiness.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, environment automation, and release management.
• Build monitoring and observability capabilities, backup and recovery processes, capacity planning, and production support.
• Own critical platform capabilities internally and support knowledge transfer from contractors to full-time associates.
• Partner with platform architects, feature engineers, MLOps engineers, data engineers, security teams, infrastructure teams, and business partners to deliver an enterprise AI/ML platform.
• Establish reusable engineering standards, mentor colleagues, improve operational processes, and support the Enterprise Feature Store vision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Experience with DevOps, software solution design, application development, testing, troubleshooting, and release management.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, review coding and documentation, and resolve complex technical problems.
• Ability to work onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
