Technician Mechanical I (HVACR)

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; onsite at the Sidney facility. First shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with voluntary overtime eligibility.

What you will do

• Assemble commercial compressors and support developmental compressor testing according to engineering laboratory instructions.
• Set up compressors and related electronics for laboratory tests.
• Operate laboratory and fabrication equipment, including TIG welders, grinders, paint booths, media blasters, can cutters, and hand tools.
• Use inspection tools such as calipers, pop-off gauges, filler gauges, and run-out gauges.
• Fabricate test fixtures and controls for non-standard tests and builds.
• Complete tests and builds, review test data, communicate results to engineers, maintain the laboratory, and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years of experience applying mechanical aptitude skills.
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Personal computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
