What you will do

• Collect patient specimens and assist with phlebotomy, patient flow, special procedures, and blood product transfusions.
• Perform waived, moderate-, and high-complexity chemistry, hematology, and immunology testing.
• Prepare blood smears, complete white blood cell differentials, and examine urinary sediment microscopically.
• Operate laboratory instruments, perform scheduled maintenance, prepare reagents, and maintain supply inventory.
• Document quality control, calibrations, maintenance, proficiency testing, critical results, and corrective actions.
• Process in-house and reference-laboratory specimens and results while maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related science field.
• Current state license where required.
• AMT, ASCP, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
• Ability to operate complex laboratory equipment, maintain accurate records, and meet physical requirements including occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
