Transducer Engineering Intern

Location: Onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. Full-time, 40 hours per week from May to August, with potential part-time work during school semesters. Relocation is available.

Pay: $18.00–$27.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support transducer engineering laboratory work and field tests.
• Help develop transducer forming processes and produce transducer prototypes.
• Assist with electromechanical configurations for acoustic and electrical energy transduction.
• Document laboratory processes and results using written reports and photographs.
• Learn transducer materials, design principles, acoustic design, and product development cycles.
• Participate in developing new transducer designs alongside experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Working toward a Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to develop solutions from vague or incomplete design inputs.
• Comfort with multitasking and shifting priorities, along with a willingness to learn.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with materials processing and handling, numerical estimation, process documentation, or Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Boating, fishing, or marine industry experience.
• Good interpersonal skills.
