Senior Consultant, Energy Advisory (Energy)

US National pay rate range: $84,000–$164,300 per year

What you will do

• Support energy tax credit advisory engagements, including project eligibility reviews, credit calculations, and documentation.
• Assist with energy and infrastructure transactions and financing activities, including tax credit transfers, tax equity investments, project financing, acquisitions, and sales.
• Develop project financial models for project evaluation and financing decisions.
• Perform financial and commercial due diligence for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Participate in client meetings, diligence calls, and stakeholder interviews.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations, market research, articles, and business development materials.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• At least three years of professional experience.
• Experience building financial models incorporating income statements and cash flows.
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, collaboration, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related programs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, supply chain, engineering, or a manufacturing-related field.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, transaction advisory, or energy tax incentives.
• Familiarity with energy tax credits, tax credit transfers, tax equity, or the Inflation Reduction Act.
• Experience with monthly close and financial reporting.
