Senior Network Engineer

Salary: $195,000–$205,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade network and sensor hardware and applications.
• Develop and implement network and sensor hardware solutions, layouts, and upgrades.
• Implement and manage network security measures.
• Resolve network and sensor hardware issues, including installation and troubleshooting of sensor devices.
• Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting.
• Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required; the most recent polygraph must have been completed within the last six years.
• 12 years of related technical experience with a related bachelor's degree, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with network architecture, network switch administration, application troubleshooting, and network device patching and upgrades.
• Hardware installation and cabling experience, including the ability to climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows.
• CCNA or CCNP and Security+ certifications.

Nice to have

• VMware architecture administration experience.
• Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• AWS, virtual machine, Linux, or Windows system administration experience.
