What you will do

• Provide high-performance computing sustainment services across two geographically dispersed areas.
• Administer systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, custom operating systems, Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Support high-speed shared storage, including Lustre and GPFS, and low-latency interconnects such as InfiniBand and Slingshot.
• Plan, deliver, integrate, and transition HPC systems, servers, and parallel file systems into operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain client/server, storage, network, and hardware systems while resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform capacity planning, and support HPC and ABS SRE teams.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the most recent polygraph must have been completed within the last 7 years.
• DoD 8570 IAT II-level certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of comparable systems administration experience, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience configuring, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting operating systems and network components.
• Experience analyzing complex server hardware, application, and software-integration problems.
• Working knowledge of system-administration interdependencies within service-oriented architectures.
