Sr Engineer Design Enablement PDK (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and test LVS/PERC design components for Process Design Kits (PDK).
• Support design enablement activities across semiconductor technology portfolios from 350 nm to 12 nm.
• Work with technologies including FD-SOI, RF, high-voltage, and automotive applications.
• Apply technical problem-solving skills to design component development and verification.
• Collaborate with the Design Enablement Team in a structured engineering environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor or EDA industry.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Strong technical problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid format in Sofia.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory.
• Experience with electronic CAD systems such as Cadence IC, Cadence OrCAD, or Protel.
• Experience with Perl, Python, Tcl, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso, schematic or layout tools, Skill programming, or EDA verification tools.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems.
