What you will do

• Assist physicians and clinicians with patient examinations, procedures, and clinical care.
• Escort patients and support efficient movement through exam and treatment areas.
• Record vital signs, patient history updates, allergies, medications, and other visit data.
• Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms, order supplies, and maintain disinfection protocols.
• Administer delegated subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Handle patient calls, referrals, prescriptions, scheduling updates, records, reception, and other clerical duties.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant candidates must graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Clinical Assistant candidates must hold a diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or be an EMT or CNA with one year of direct-care experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Two to three years of experience is preferred; oncology experience is helpful.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant status is preferred, with certification or registration required within six months of hire if not already held.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, handle and lift patients, and occasionally carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
