Clinic Medical Assistant (MA-C) - Orthopedics - Full Time (40 hours/week)

Location: 603 S Chestnut St, Ellensburg, WA 98926, USA; onsite clinic work

Salary: USD 21.91–33.22 per hour. Higher career-ladder tiers range from USD 23.35–39.02 per hour based on experience and responsibilities.

What you will do

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist providers with medical procedures, including administering injections and medications.
• Verify and update patient medical records for completeness.
• Refill medications and notify patients of test results.
• Perform other duties within the Certified Medical Assistant scope of practice.
• Float between KVH clinics as needed to support patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Current license to practice in the State of Washington required.
• Current BLS card for Healthcare Providers required and must be maintained.
• Previous exposure to an electronic medical records system.
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week; benefits eligible.

Nice to have

• English/Spanish bilingual certification.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience.
• CWCA Wound Care Certification.
• Registered Orthopedic Technologist certification from the American Society of Orthopedic Professionals.
