Product Manager (Electrical Products)

Location: Hybrid role based in Melville, New York, United States; up to 20% travel required.

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Manage up to four new and existing commercial product lines, including profitability, forecasting, inventory, pricing, and product performance.
• Develop product strategies and 3–5-year roadmaps based on market intelligence, customer interaction, competitor analysis, and business trends.
• Own the product development lifecycle, including specifications, packaging, pricing, business proposals, market and product requirements documents, charters, and phase-in or phase-out plans.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with engineering, operations, marketing, sales, customer service, and technical support.
• Support new product launches, customer and end-user research, sales meetings, product training presentations, and product customization initiatives.
• Maintain competitive catalog-number references and support the work of an Associate Product Manager or Product Coordinator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 3–5 years of direct Product Management experience.
• Experience managing product lines throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and operations processes, with strong mathematical, analytical, computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with engineering, operations, marketing, sales, customers, and project teams to bring products to market.
• Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and experience preparing reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and presentations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with regulatory or standards organizations such as UL, CSA, or NOM.
