Maintenance Technician

Location: El Cajon, California, USA; onsite

Salary: USD 23–25 per hour

What you will do

• Complete work orders within designated time frames and document work performed and materials procured.
• Complete apartment turnovers within five days of move-out.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, heating, locks, doors, windows, and other building components.
• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior building surfaces.
• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarms, and other building systems.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• High school diploma required.
• In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for on-call work and Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.

• Relevant certifications such as HVAC or CMRP.
