Mgr Site Regulatory Assurance

Location: Onsite in Lusby, Maryland, United States

Salary: $162,000–$180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the site regulatory assurance function and regulatory interface for Clean Energy Center needs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the performance, development, and objective alignment of site regulatory assurance personnel.
• Coordinate with other Site Regulatory Assurance Managers and Corporate Licensing Managers to deliver competent, timely, and standards-compliant support.
• Handle employment, development, compensation, and performance evaluation responsibilities for assigned staff.
• Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of professional experience, including related experience; or an equivalent combination of SRO licensing, technical education, and industry experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain minimum or unescorted access requirements, as applicable.
• Successful medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
• Knowledge of reactor systems, Technical Specifications, UFSAR, and applicable portions of the Code of Federal Regulations is preferred.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline or an MBA.
• Previous SRO license or certification.
• Previous supervisory experience.
