Reporting Specialist (Heavy-Civil Infrastructure)

Salary: $75,000–$140,000 per year ($36–$67 per hour)

What you will do

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports communicating project and program status, progress, milestones, and key information.
• Collect, organize, verify, and synthesize reporting inputs from multiple project stakeholders.
• Develop written summaries, presentations, dashboards, visuals, and standardized performance updates.
• Review schedules, project records, meeting notes, correspondence, and documentation to identify relevant reporting information.
• Maintain reporting trackers, logs, shared repositories, and document management platforms to support version control and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with project and program controls teams to align reporting outputs with established formats, templates, and expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive reporting experience supporting heavy-civil infrastructure construction programs in highways, roads, bridges, transit, or aviation.
• Ability to collect, validate, and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders into structured reporting outputs.
• Experience preparing written summaries, presentations, dashboards, or other reporting materials for internal or external audiences.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or comparable dashboard and KPI reporting software; SharePoint or similar document control systems.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office 365, and related project or construction management software.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business.
• Active professional certifications such as PMP.
• Experience with large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure projects valued above $500 million.
• Experience supporting project owners in similar roles.
