Molding Maintenance Technician

Location: Tijuana, Mexico; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain molding and other production machinery.
• Specify, perform, and document preventive maintenance procedures and equipment calibration.
• Develop, fabricate, and modify fixturing and equipment, managing projects from initiation through completion.
• Support engineering evaluations, qualifications, protocols, validations, testing, data analysis, and reporting.
• Investigate equipment safety, quality, efficiency, and downtime issues; implement improvements and upgrades.
• Train machine operators and provide support to other technician functions during emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Ability to use measuring instruments, read part prints, and understand basic geometric tolerancing.
• Experience with machining lathes and Bridgeport milling machines; skills will be assessed before independent operation.
• Ability to comply with GMPs, SOPs, manufacturing instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, apprenticeship, or technical certification.
• Additional training or demonstrated proficiency with lathes and Bridgeport milling machines.
