Senior Project Engineer (Data Center)

Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA; full-time, on-site project work.

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager in delivering complex mission-critical, data center, life science, and food and beverage construction projects.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve field issues and maintain project progress.
• Review construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings to identify discrepancies, constructability concerns, and RFI requirements.
• Lead submittal, RFI, QA/QC, inspection, as-built, and document-control workflows.
• Prepare commissioning activities, equipment verification, system walkthroughs, integrated systems testing readiness, punch-list closure, and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, receiving, field placement, vendor requirements, cost-management activities, and site-safety compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–10 years of project engineering or construction experience, preferably on large, complex, or advanced-technology facilities.
• Required experience with QA/QC documentation, installation verification, and turnover packages.
• Expert knowledge of RFI and submittal processing, construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with design-build delivery and familiarity with commissioning, startup, and turnover processes for mission-critical systems.
• Expert capability with Microsoft Office, VDC tools, mobile field applications, and construction management platforms.
