QA/QC Manager (Datacenter Construction)

Location: Empire State Building, New York, New York; full-time, onsite role

Salary: $151,976–$172,699 per year

What you will do

• Provide QA construction and design management and lead project development and delivery.
• Coordinate day-to-day field activities, information flow, costs, schedules, safety programs, and contractor performance.
• Act as the QA project point of contact and facilitate decisions, solutions, schedules, and change management.
• Participate in design and construction meetings, including OAC, discipline work groups, progress, pre-construction, and pre-award meetings.
• Review trade contracts and bid packages, coordinate receiving, and maintain relationships with designers, consultants, internal partners, and the general contractor.
• Establish QA/QC procedures, review inspection and test data, conduct quality field inspections, and maintain the site logistics plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, construction project management, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction management experience.
• Proficiency in commercial and industrial architecture and engineering, with a primary focus on datacenter design and construction.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment.
