Team Leader - Production

Location: Manchester, UK; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and motivate Operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Coordinate valve production against customer demand, backlog requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Work with Planning and Purchasing to ensure parts are available on time.
• Maintain accurate build and test instructions and support smooth internal processes.
• Use data-driven reporting, including daily SQDCP reporting, to guide decisions and participate in tier meetings.
• Drive process improvements, uphold 5S standards, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements

• Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading a team.
• Basic understanding of lean management techniques.
• Practical experience applying health and safety standards.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of supply chain processes.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and train others.
