Senior Associate, Technology Risk Advisory - AI Risk (AI)

Salary: $77,700–$146,900 per year, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Support and execute risk and compliance assessments for AI/ML and GenAI systems, including model lifecycle controls, data governance, and responsible AI considerations.
• Evaluate IT, cloud, and data environment controls such as IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, and network segmentation.
• Contribute to model documentation, testing artifacts, lineage tracking, change management, and AI governance activities.
• Assess emerging technology initiatives involving GenAI, automation, cloud-native architectures, and digital transformation.
• Work with engineering, data science, cybersecurity, model risk, and audit teams across the first and second lines of defense.
• Gather requirements, manage assigned tasks, prepare workplans, and produce clear client-facing assessments and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Risk, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience supporting technology solution delivery, with exposure to AI/ML or GenAI and risk, compliance, audit, or regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of Python, modern ML/GenAI stacks, model development frameworks, embeddings, and RAG concepts.
• Hands-on experience contributing to model development, evaluation, or implementation, including AI systems deployed on cloud platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, data pipelines, testing, version control, CI/CD, IAM, encryption, data governance, and cloud environment controls.
• Ability to translate technical designs into risk and control implications and communicate complex concepts in clear business language.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AAIA, AAISM, AIGP, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, or other AI-focused credentials.
• Experience with AI risk frameworks, responsible AI principles, or cloud compliance programs.
