What you will do

• Design and maintain platform infrastructure for end-to-end machine learning lifecycles, including distributed training and inference.
• Architect and manage an enterprise Feature Store to ensure consistent, low-latency feature delivery.
• Build vector databases and indexing pipelines to support LLMs, RAG patterns, and semantic search.
• Develop secure, high-throughput APIs and data connectors to sync the lakehouse with external SaaS platforms and business systems.
• Collaborate with MLOps teams to transition experimental notebooks into resilient, production-grade automated workflows.
• Optimize compute engines such as Ray and Spark/EMR for heavy mathematical and data science workloads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on ML platforms, MLOps, or complex integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, MLflow, or equivalent cloud-native ML platforms.
• Experience implementing feature store frameworks (e.g., Feast) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant).
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) and SQL.
• Experience using Apache Spark/AWS EMR, Ray, or Dask for processing massive datasets.
• Expertise in building REST APIs, Webhooks, and utilizing streaming tools like AWS Kinesis or Kafka.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and fine-tuning open-source LLMs or using LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Experience with reverse-ETL tools such as Census or Hightouch.
