Wonderful Scholar Summer Internship, IT

Location: Onsite in Lost Hills, California, USA. The internship lasts 6–10 weeks and requires a flexible schedule in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and loud machinery.

Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds is a vertically integrated pistachio and almond grower and processor operating advanced manufacturing and food-processing facilities in California's Central Valley.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to staff and production areas, troubleshooting computer and system issues.
• Configure desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, and related workplace technology.
• Track, log, prioritize, and escalate requests through a ticketing system while keeping users informed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines while completing daily technical tasks.
• Contribute to a designated process-improvement project, including implementation and testing.
• Collect and report key performance indicators related to process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be a Wonderful Scholar enrolled in the College Success program.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment and work a flexible schedule.

Nice to have

• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
