Chinese Multi-Disciplined Language Analyst (Level 1-4) (SIGINT)

What you will do

• Process voice and graphic Chinese-language materials in support of SIGINT operations.
• Perform cryptologic language analysis for Department of Defense and intelligence community missions.
• Recover essential elements of information from language materials.
• Translate and transcribe complex and sophisticated written and spoken content.
• Produce gist-level summaries of straightforward factual material.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Chinese ILR proficiency is required at the level specified for the applicable position level.
• Level 1: High school diploma plus 2 years of experience, with ILR Level 2 or higher in listening and reading.
• Level 2: High school diploma plus 6 years of experience or an associate degree plus 4 years, with ILR Level 3 in listening or reading.
• Level 3: High school diploma plus 14 years of experience or a bachelor's degree plus 10 years, with ILR Level 3 in listening or reading.
• Level 4: High school diploma plus 19 years of experience or a bachelor's degree plus 15 years, with ILR Level 3 in both listening and reading.
