Spanish Operational Language Analyst (SIGINT)

Location: In office in Annapolis Junction, MD; Augusta, GA; or San Antonio, TX

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 annually

What you will do

• Process voice and graphic Spanish-language materials supporting SIGINT operations.
• Translate, transcribe, and gist foreign-language materials into clear, idiomatic English.
• Identify and extract essential elements of information.
• Support mission reporting through accurate and timely language analysis.
• Use standard tools and databases for analysis and reporting.
• At senior levels, perform quality control, mentor colleagues, and analyze complex language data.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph are required.
• High school diploma or GED for Level 1; associate’s or bachelor’s degree requirements apply at higher levels, with additional experience accepted in lieu.
• ILR Level 2 or Level 3 audio and/or text translation proficiency, depending on level.
• Two to 15 years of relevant cryptologic language-processing experience, depending on level.
• Experience must include translation, transcription, and gisting as primary duties; senior levels also require quality-control experience.
• At least one year of typing on an English keyboard; recency requirements apply at higher levels.
