Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop high-density, mixed-technology printed circuit boards and associated mechanical components.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams on manufacturability, reliability, and DFX requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and produce bills of materials and 2D drawings.
• Contribute to mechanical packaging design for high-voltage power supplies used in medical imaging, analytical instrumentation, industrial test equipment, security, and underwater communications.
• Apply standard PCB manufacturing processes and stay current with relevant technical innovations.

Requirements

• Experience designing PCBs with Altium, PCAD, PADs, or equivalent CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit layout and electronic packaging principles.
• Proficiency in PCB-related mechanical design using AutoCAD, Inventor 3D, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of BOM and ERP systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Hauppauge, New York.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the switching power supply industry.
• Background in general mechanical packaging design and 3D modeling.
