What you will do

• Create PCB layouts for power converter assemblies in Altium using design-for-manufacturability rules and standard component footprints.
• Run layout verification checklists with hirify.global CAD Automated tools and manage PCB lifecycle stages in PLM.
• Update layouts from marked-up schematics and create new boards from prior revisions or as revision A designs.
• Incorporate mechanical features, terminals, keepouts, spacing, solder mask patterns, and other manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, compliance, NPI, operations, and applications engineering stakeholders.
• Lead layout design reviews before PCB tape-out and create PCB stencil files with supporting PLM documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of CAD experience.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer.
• Basic understanding of PCB technologies, including SMT, through-hole, and buried or blind vias.
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent designs and communicate effectively with cross-functional engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with BluePrint software.
• Familiarity with Valor and/or ODB++ data.
