Broker Contract Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Tampa, Florida; must reside within 50 miles of the Tampa office or within commuting distance of an alternate hirify.global office. In-office attendance is required 1–2 days per week.

What you will do

• Conduct broker background checks and assess broker qualifications.
• Interpret and apply state licensing and appointment laws.
• Audit and reconcile agent appointment renewals, terminations, and continuing education requirements.
• Manage complex licensing and compliance inquiries, regulatory audits, and Department of Insurance examinations.
• Maintain broker commissions, bonuses, and levels to ensure accurate payouts.
• Generate reports, document procedures, train associates, and contribute to system enhancement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel to the worksite and other locations as necessary.
• Insurance license may be required.
