Financial Reporting Manager (Banking)

Location: Phoenix, AZ — CityScape; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Oversee the Regulatory Reporting function and ensure timely, accurate delivery of recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Lead quarterly preparation and review of Basel Capital Ratios and provide subject matter expertise on capital calculations.
• Lead implementation of the Basel NPR from a regulatory reporting perspective.
• Support Large Financial Institution Readiness, including Y-14 M/Q/A, Y-15, and FFIEC 031 reporting.
• Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports filed with federal banking agencies, primarily the Federal Reserve.
• Support business growth initiatives, audits, regulatory examinations, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience in accounting, finance, public reporting, analysis, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; previous leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of Basel rules, capital ratios, GAAP, banking operations, and regulatory compliance obligations.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm and/or public-company regulatory reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, analyze complex non-standardized problems, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Advanced computer skills with AxiomSL, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SQL Server, and Workiva; occasional travel required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Direct experience with Basel capital calculations.
