Senior Small Business Banking Consultant (Fintech)

Location: Work from home in Florida, United States

Salary: $78,401.25–$124,432.00 per year, plus potential variable incentives, bonuses, commissions, or other awards.

What you will do

• Manage and grow relationships with small business clients, including sole proprietors, nonprofits, and employer firms.
• Conduct telephone-based financial reviews, assess needs, discuss cash cycles, and recommend suitable banking and financial solutions.
• Support applications and fulfillment for selected products and refer clients to product and fulfillment specialists when needed.
• Resolve complex servicing issues and proactively contact targeted clients to arrange deeper financial discussions.
• Facilitate credit requests within Consumer Bank thresholds and refer larger opportunities to the Commercial Bank.
• Coordinate referrals to Treasury Management and meet quarterly revenue and profit growth goals.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of sales or client relationship management experience in banking or financial products, including significant small business client experience.
• Strong knowledge of small business deposits, lending products, financial services sales, and business operations.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and perform cash flow analysis, with demonstrated credit judgment.
• Strong prospecting, relationship management, communication, negotiation, influencing, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements, including Reg B, ECOA, HMDA, FIRREA, and CRA.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Small Business Banker, Business Banking Relationship Manager, or Branch Leader/Manager.
• Phone-based sales experience with banking or financial products.
• Formal credit training or small business banking sales training.
• Experience mentoring and developing less experienced team members.
