Focus on building peer-level relationships with healthcare providers and medical experts, shaping medical education, and providing medical input to clinical development, commercial readiness, market access, and regulatory strategy.

Location: Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, with a minimum of two on-site days per week, currently Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional on-site attendance may be required based on business needs.

Salary: $266,000–$344,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus and potential long-term incentive award such as equity.

What you will do

  • Lead medical affairs strategy for assigned lupus programs and the broader autoimmune and inflammatory disease portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary external medical and scientific expert for healthcare providers, key medical experts, clinical investigators, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Build and maintain trusted peer-level relationships within the autoimmune and inflammatory disease community.
  • Lead scientific exchange, evidence generation, medical education, and key medical expert engagement programs.
  • Provide senior medical input to clinical development, commercial readiness, market access, and regulatory strategy.

Requirements

  • Deep scientific expertise in autoimmune disease and inflammatory diseases.
  • Strong experience managing relationships with key medical experts and external healthcare stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide strategic medical leadership in a clinical-stage, resource-efficient biotechnology environment.
  • Experience supporting medical affairs strategy and cross-functional collaboration across clinical development, commercial, market access, and regulatory functions.
  • Ability to work on-site in Boston at least two days per week.
