Associate Director Clinical Development, Immunology

Location: Remote, United States; preference for candidates near the West Coast site in California. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Base compensation: $184,000–$253,000 per year.

What you will do

• Contribute to clinical development frameworks and early-phase protocols for neuroimmunology and autoimmune disease programs.
• Partner with clinical operations, biostatistics, data management, regulatory, safety, and other R&D functions to execute studies.
• Provide medical monitoring, clinical oversight, and safety-focused input for clinical trials.
• Support CROs and investigators by addressing protocol-related questions and providing therapeutic expertise.
• Interpret study data and contribute to clinical reports, protocols, amendments, investigator brochures, study reports, and briefing materials.
• Monitor the neuroimmunology and autoimmune disease landscape, including standards of care, competitors, and scientific advances.

Requirements

• MD/DO or international equivalent, or PharmD with relevant experience.
• 0–2+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, plus academic or clinical research experience.
• Experience in medical monitoring or as an investigator/sub-investigator.
• Experience contributing to clinical study execution or oversight and working cross-functionally with R&D partners.
• Deep scientific and clinical understanding of neuroimmunology and autoimmune disorders, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Neurology, neuromuscular medicine, myasthenia gravis, CIDP, neuroimmunology, or other immune-mediated disease experience.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for drug development.
