Executive Director, Global Medical Affairs - Cardiovascular Program Lead (Cardiovascular)

Annual salary: $325,302–$440,114, excluding Puerto Rico. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead integrated global medical strategies for cardiovascular and Repatha programs across marketed and pipeline assets.
• Partner with Global Development, Commercial, Access, R&D, and regional medical teams to align scientific and medical objectives.
• Direct evidence generation, scientific communications, congress strategy, medical education, launch readiness, and lifecycle management.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, cooperative groups, professional societies, academic networks, and external cardiovascular communities.
• Lead resource planning, prioritization, budget allocation, and operational excellence across Medical Affairs programs.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing Medical Affairs teams while integrating AI-enabled solutions into medical engagement and operations.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 6 years of medical affairs experience, or master’s degree and 10 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience.
• At least 6 years of managerial or leadership experience managing people, teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related biopharmaceutical functions, including product launches and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of evidence generation, scientific communication, congress planning, external engagement, medical education, and global medical strategies.
• Experience managing budgets and resources, developing Medical Affairs teams, and collaborating with global and regional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of global healthcare systems, reimbursement, commercialization, Good Clinical Practices, and global regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• MD degree.
• Experience with both inline and pipeline launches.
• Experience partnering with cooperative groups, professional societies, and academic institutions.
• Experience using digital and AI-enabled solutions to improve medical engagement and operational effectiveness.
