What you will do

• Design portable and industrial thermal barcode printers, RFID products, wireless solutions, accessories, and services from concept through mass production.
• Contribute to conceptual design, technical design reviews, architectural planning, and milestone management across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with corporate technical, manufacturing, marketing, and external expert teams.
• Monitor emerging technologies, design standards, and competitive intellectual property.
• Support existing printer product lines by resolving manufacturing yield and field quality issues.
• Evaluate alternative electronic components to address supply chain disruptions and component obsolescence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 9+ years of engineering experience focused on mixed-signal circuit design.
• Advanced circuit modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, analysis, and laboratory experience, including LTSpice or TINA.
• Advanced schematic capture and PCB layout experience using Mentor Graphics or Altium.
• Technical experience with RFID, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, analog and power circuits, precision motor drives, and thermal printhead control logic.
• Experience with global EMC and safety regulatory approvals and maintenance.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, data collectors, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment.
