Vice President, Commercial Banking- Commercial

Location: Costa Mesa, California, United States; up to 50% travel may be required.

Salary: $149,295–$184,425 per year, with potential annual bonus or incentives and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Identify target markets and develop a new book of commercial banking business.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, including business checking and deposit relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing and servicing of complex commercial loans.
• Analyze market, client, financial, and risk information to recommend lending and deposit solutions.
• Present financing requests to senior management or the Loan Committee and coordinate approved loan processing.
• Represent the bank in customer, community, civic, and community reinvestment activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and related products.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, industry standards, and banking practices.
• Advanced relationship management, organizational, time management, speaking, and writing skills.
