TL;DR
Commodity Manager - Corporate Services (Procurement and Supply Chain): Developing global indirect corporate services commodity strategies, sourcing projects, contracts, and supplier onboarding with an accent on cost reduction, supplier performance, and stakeholder alignment. Focus on designing e-sourcing and negotiation strategies, managing supplier risks and agreements, and driving savings across global operations.

Location: Sidney, OH, USA; hybrid eligible with at least three days per week in the office. Up to 10% travel to domestic and global hirify.global locations and suppliers is required.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement commodity strategies for indirect corporate services across hirify.global locations globally.
  • Coordinate procurement projects with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Legal, including goals, scopes of work, proposals, and timelines.
  • Identify cost-reduction, process-improvement, supplier-consolidation, and savings opportunities.
  • Develop e-sourcing, RFx, negotiation, and supplier onboarding strategies.
  • Manage supplier contracts and agreements, conduct performance reviews, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Train internal stakeholders on Procurement standard work, procedures, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related area with global scope.
  • Experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, supplier relationship management, and supply chain technologies.
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
