Student Finance Systems Programmer/Developer (.NET)

Location: Columbia, MD, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $61,720.78–$86,176 per year

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between business departments and technology teams.
• Define requirements and specifications for application enhancements and new software initiatives.
• Partner with developers, external vendors, and internal users during project execution and implementation.
• Support user acceptance test planning, certify test results, and maintain user documentation.
• Translate business needs into scalable applications and improve operational efficiency through information systems.
• Support data and reporting initiatives, maintain data standards, and track project status, risks, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 2 years of IT or software development business analysis experience.
• Experience writing SQL and using GCP.
• Strong experience modifying and supporting custom .NET desktop applications built with C# and VB.NET, including WinForms and WPF applications connected to SQL Server databases.
• Experience in higher education, CRM tools such as Salesforce or RightNow, and SDLC practices.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with four required in-office days per week in Columbia, Maryland.
